MHA ANNOUNCES THREE YEAR
CONTRACT
December 21, 2005 (Florham Park, NJ): Managed Health Care Associates, Inc., the largest Group Purchasing Organization in the Alternate Site and Long Term Care Industry, announced today that it has secured a three year contract with the Long Term Care division of Kindred Pharmacy Services (KPS) to be their exclusive provider of GPO services. Kindred’s LTC Division is the third largest Long Term Care pharmacy chain in the country representing approximately 83,850 beds.
Mr. Robert Weir, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of KPS stated, “After an exhaustive bid process we felt that MHA was the ideal fit for our organization. Our rapid growth in Long Term Care requires a partner that could meet our day to day purchasing needs as well assist us in other key components of our business.
